It means the panel is loose in the frame and the weatherstrip is no longer holding it. Beyond the noise, it also means air and water are getting through, and in Baldwin County storm season that matters.
Can you fix a foggy patio door glass panel?
The seal on the insulated unit has failed and the glass itself needs replacing, but the frame and the rest of the door do not. We replace the glass unit in place.
Can the screen be repaired or does it need replacing?
Both are common. Bent frames and destroyed mesh usually get replaced; worn rollers and torn spline are straightforward repairs.
Do you work on French patio doors as well as sliders?
Yes. Hinged French pairs have a different set of problems, mostly hinge sag, astragal binding and multipoint lock failures, but they are just as repairable.
