Sliding Door Repair
A sliding glass door is the heaviest moving part in most houses, and it rides on two small wheels. When those wheels flatten out or the track underneath them wears into a groove, the whole panel starts fighting back. We rebuild them instead of replacing them.
Door Lock Repair
Most lock problems are not lock problems. A deadbolt that needs a shoulder to throw usually has a strike that no longer lines up because the door or frame has moved. We diagnose the whole opening rather than selling you a new lock that fails the same way.
Door Frame Repair
When a door will not close right, people replace the door. Most of the time the door is fine and the frame is the problem. Jambs rot at the bottom, split at the strike, and go out of square when the house moves, and no amount of hinge adjustment fixes any of that.
Door Handle Repair
A handle that has gone loose or floppy usually has a small, cheap part failing inside the door, and catching it early is the difference between a quick repair and a door that traps somebody in a room.
Door Hinge Repair
A sagging door is almost always a hinge problem, and almost always the top hinge. It carries the most load, and when its screws lose their grip the whole door tilts and starts dragging on the latch side.

French doors are two heavy doors meeting in the middle with nothing but hardware holding the alignment. When one leaf drops even slightly, the pair stops meeting cleanly and everything downstream stops working: the latch, the seal, the multipoint lock.

Interior doors get ignored until one of them traps somebody in a bathroom. They are simpler than exterior doors, which means most of what goes wrong with them is quick and inexpensive to fix.
Exterior Door Repair
An exterior door has to do three jobs at once: keep weather out, keep people out, and open easily every day. When it starts failing at one of them it is usually already failing at the others.
Window Repair
Windows fail the same way doors do: the moving parts wear out long before the frame or the glass does. Balances, rollers, locks and seals are all replaceable, and replacing a whole window because the sash will not stay up is an expensive way to solve a cheap problem.
